Ghanaian highlife sensation, Fameye, has hailed one 'KwameBaahGH' for his assistance in restoring his YouTube channel, which had been hacked and deleted ahead of his album release.
Fameye took to Facebook on May 26 to express his frustration over the challenge, hoping to retrieve his channel as soon as possible.
The artist returned to Facebook a day later with the good news that his channel had been restored to him and was performing perfectly.
“Big love to KwameBaahGH. My YouTube account is back & kicking. Hope you ready for the album? Go subscribe,” he posted.
Fameye is gearing up to release his album, and the date is yet to be announced.
Fameye's YouTube channel has contributed to promoting his song and connecting with his fans globally.
His songs "Nothing I Get" and "Mansa" have garnered millions of views on his channel with a strong online presence.
He won the Highlife Artiste of the Year award at the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards beating Kuami Eugene and Kofi Kinaata.
Meanwhile, Fameye's former manager, Ogidi Brown, has placed a curse on him, predicting that his music career will decline.
According to him, Fameye repaid his goodwill with betrayal despite receiving nothing but kindness, and as a result, his downfall will be disastrous.
In a video shared on social media on February 7, 2025, an enraged Ogidi Brown declared, "Fameye, I know you will end badly, and you’ll be shocked because you’ll end up like a musician who’s currently in the news for all the wrong reasons. And if you ever mention my name again, God will punish you.”
He further stated, "We shall see. You will reap what you’ve sown..."
