I dated my choirmaster when I was 10 years old - Fave

Nigerian singer Chidozie Ugochinyere, popularly known as Fave, recently shared a unique childhood experience, revealing that she once dated her choirmaster when she was just 10 years old. The 'Baby Riddim' singer explained that they were both members of the children's choir and around the same age.

"He was the choirmaster, and it was the children’s choir, so we were all kids. We had this midnight routine where he would call, and it was just cute," recounted the 24-year-old artist.

Fave also expressed introspective thoughts on her sexuality, acknowledging her curiosity and uncertainties. "I have questions about my sexuality; I'm curious. Isn't it normal to be curious? If you're not curious, then maybe that's the issue," she remarked.

Fave embarked on her music career in 2019, quickly establishing herself in the industry. Her debut EP, "Riddim 5," released in January 2022, showcased her musical talent. She has collaborated with prominent Nigerian artists and released several singles, continuing to make an impact.

As a co-owner of the record label Tumblar, where she is also signed, Fave's passion for music ignited at the age of six, performing and composing at various school events. Her professional journey began with her debut single, "M.O.M.M.S. (Me or Mask My Sins)," in 2019, followed by a breakthrough freestyle over a beat by Jinmi Abduls. In April 2020, she officially debuted with the track "N.B.U. (Nobody But U)."
