Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has appealed to Ghanaians to commit to compassion, fairness, and unity as core values for building a better nation.
In a reflective Easter message posted on her official Facebook page on Friday, April 18, she encouraged the public to use the season as a moment of renewal and collective purpose.
“I wish all Ghanaians a meaningful and peaceful Easter. As Christians across Ghana and the world mark the celebration of Easter, I extend my warmest wishes to everybody. May this season reawaken in us the conviction to build a kinder, fairer nation, one that listens, uplifts, and holds space for every voice,” she wrote.
Her message comes on the heels of a period of medical recovery, during which her team assured the public of her well-being and positive progress.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang’s re-emergence with a call for empathy and nation-building has been widely received as both inspiring and timely, underscoring her continued commitment to national unity and development.
