Elizabeth Ama Yankah has been nominated by President John Dramani Mahama to serve as the new Deputy National Security Coordinator, a move aimed at reinforcing leadership within Ghana’s security apparatus.
With a solid background in finance, having previously served in a senior capacity at one of Ghana’s prominent local banks, Yankah brings a unique set of skills to her new role.
Her expertise in strategic thinking and organizational management is expected to contribute significantly to national security efforts.
Elizabeth Yankah is an alumna of Wesley Girls’ Senior High School, a respected institution that has produced many distinguished professionals.
Her commitment to public service and institutional development aligns well with the expectations of her new role.
In her capacity as Deputy National Security Coordinator, Yankah will support the National Security Coordinator in implementing national security policies.
She will also play a key role in fostering effective collaboration among various security agencies to safeguard Ghana’s peace and stability
