Ghanaian Kumawood actor, Abraham Kofi Davis, popularly known as Salinko, has advised bloggers to propagate the truth if they want to prosper.
Salinko's remark follows his dissatisfaction with some Ghanaian bloggers reporting false news about him.
In an Instagram post to address the matter, he warned the bloggers, saying:
"Those bloggers fond of projecting false should be very careful. If you tarnish my image to get views on your channel, I promise after two months it will collapse... If you want your platform to be acknowledged and respected by people, project good news."
"The bloggers who are known for spreading false news should stop it. If I were you, I would delete such news. You can't trade on bad news... If you want to prosper," he stated.
In February 2024, there were false reports about popular Kumawood actress, Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu.
But she shared a post on social media to dispel the false reports, clarifying that she was enjoying her life overseas.
Veteran Ghanaian actor and stand-up comedian Kofi Adu, popularly known as Agya Koo, was also reported dead in a motor accident in 2020.
Reacting to the news, Agya Koo denied the reports, branding them a mere hoax.
“You know, some of our people like to ride on famous people to trend,” he revealed.
In the case of Agya Koo, he said the news traveled so fast that his comrades abroad contacted him to confirm if he was alive.
“I’ve received over 500 calls, including international calls, and they keep asking if I have was involved in an accident. I’m in my room, and I haven’t been involved in any sort of accident,” he added.
