Ghana's rising rap star Young Dickson, known in music circles as YD, is back with a powerful new single titled "Thyself" enlisting the lyrical strength of Strongman Burner of Strong Empire.
The track fuses smooth melodies with gritty rap verses, delivering a thought-provoking message about life's hardships and teh importance of self-reliance.
In "Thyself," both rappers urge the youth to take control of their destiny than depend on uncertain external support.
YD is building stong momentum in 2024, following earlier releases like "jollof," "Ankonam," "Press Play," which featured in comic rapper Kwame Yogot.
With "Thyself," he aims to further solidify his presence in the rap game.
The production quality matches the song's energy due to the effort of renowned sound engineer Thubani Muzik, who handled the beat, mixing and mastering.
