Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment, George Opare Addo, held a strategic meeting on Friday, May 2, with representatives from UNICEF, UNFPA, and UNAIDS to discuss potential areas of collaboration aimed at advancing youth-focused initiatives in Ghana.
The engagement brought together leadership from the three UN agencies and officials from the Ministry to explore opportunities for partnership on key issues impacting young people.
The conversation centered on aligning efforts in sectors such as education, health, youth empowerment, social development, and community infrastructure.
Representing the Ministry and the government, Mr. Opare Addo conveyed appreciation for the continued support and impactful contributions of the UN agencies in Ghana’s development agenda.
The meeting marked a significant step towards forging stronger alliances to enhance the well-being and prospects of the country’s youth.
