TikTok content creator Theresah Akosua Dickson, popularly known as Akosua, has explained why she consistently shared updates of her romantic relationship with fellow TikToker Quecy Official with the general public.

Speaking on The Delay Show on July 4, 2025, Akosua said, “We met on TikTok. So, whatever happens, I need to update them so they could help me if need be.”

Quecy Official, who was also on the show, confirmed that their relationship had ended, attributing it to how Akosua managed the relationship publicly and privately.

“I see her go live on TikTok, I go live on a different issue, then she will use another phone to watch my live and be monitoring me. She doesn’t give me space to breathe. I feel entrapped,” Quecy stated.

Quecy says failed attempts to resolve issues privately contributed greatly to their breakup, including arguments and online rants.

“My new woman doesn’t yell. She gives me peace. She was even the one who used to alert me whenever Akosua went online to rant,” he said.

Akosua also ruled out any future friendship with Quecy, stating, “We’re no more. And that’s it.”

Akosua has decided not to ever embark on any romantic affair with someone she meets on TikTok.

In 2024, the country was hit by the separation of rapper Medikal and his wife, Fella Makafui.

Their split was fraught with tension and allegations, spanning several months, but both are reportedly in the process of finalising their divorce.

Medikal has, however, revealed that he is currently in a relationship and plans to remarry in the future.
