Veteran Ghanaian rapper Nii Addo Quaynir, known in showbiz as Tinny, has opened up about shelving a music video that showcased Fella Makafui's nakedness.
He attested to the fact that he released a song titled "Baddest Girl" years back, but the video of the song was withheld due to "one or two things."
Responding to the question of what could have been the reason, Tinny said:
"...the people that were holding them down got back to us that because of one or two things, we should hold on for the video. It is not going to help her." Tinny told George Quaye on JoyPrime.
Hence, a conclusion was made that releasing such a video was not a good idea.
Recently, Tinny popped up on social media after American rapper, Ja Rule revealed that he once collaborated with a Ghanaian artiste over a decade ago but could not recall the artiste’s name.
During his visit to Ghana to commission a six-unit classroom block at Nuaso Anglican Basic School in the Eastern Region, he made the revelation in an interview with Joy News, which gained traction on social media.
Ja Rule recounted being in the studio with the artiste but admitted that the details of the session had faded from his memory.
“I recorded a song a long time ago with a Ghanaian artiste, but I have forgotten his name. This was about 15 years ago. Afrobeat is really big right now,” he said.
His statement sparked speculation among netizens, with many suggesting that the artiste in question could be rapper Tinny.
Following his statement, videos resurfaced online showing Tinny in the studio with Ja Rule.
The rumored song is believed to have also featured Morris Babyface on the hook, with suggestions that it was initially intended for one of Ja Rule’s albums but was never released.
